I have some friends who made into the summer animation internship at Pixar. Isn’t it awesome?! It’s even more awesome that some of them got hired as fix animators after the internship!! Woo hoo!! Congrats guys! I saw some works they did during the internship, they look great.

I think internships are very useful to get your foot into the industry. I did my internship at Rhythm & Hues Studios. That was great experience and fun!! If you are an animation student it’s definitely worth trying it.

Oh, by the way I went upto SF during the long labor day weekend. It’s been just two months since I left SF for LA…but I felt kinda weird…can’t explain…but I love SF!! And it’s always great to see friends. I hope I’ll go upto SF again soon.

LA is hot. I finished my training and got my first few shots at DreamWorks Animation!!
